I am a senior leader with 26 years of professional experience. I worked 20 years for NIKE, the world #1 and leader in the sports industry as a General Manager & Senior Director, and as a Manager in other companies in the area of fashion and retail with a focus on Sales, Retail & Marketing. I led big businesses and highly diverse teams, have been part of senior management teams in EMEA and worked in different marketplaces with a strong focus on the digital Wholesale & Retail elevation and acceleration.

General Management.

General responsibility, P&L and Marketplace Management inspiring and serving consumer demand while delivering results and growth. Leading highly diverse cross-functional teams.

 

Retail Management.

Planning, monitoring and organizing retail related business activities, securing and including competitiveness through strategic concepts and their implementation. Merchandising assortments, managing inventories, organizing employees, understanding consumer profiles anticipating demand to increase growth.

Sales Management.

Leading big businesses (>$1B), teams (>200 HC) and marketplaces in EMEA (DACH + CE). Developing and executing Sales strategies as well as implementing new business models to transform the marketplace.

 

Marketing Management.

Developing, planning and implementing Marketing strategies and products in various markets to strengthen the consumer and customer connection as well as the brand voice and brand perception. Leading talents and collaborating with agencies, managing budgets and supporting short- and long-term growth assumptions.

Marketplace Development.

Developing digital-led marketplaces by thoughtfully executing selective distribution strategies, marketplace mapping findings, marketplace capacity results, Key City and trade zone planning to elevate, transform and shape the future marketplace.

 

Team Leadership.

Leading big teams with empathy and a strong focus on diversity, equality and talent development. Re-designing organizational structures, developing new departments and hiring new talents while navigating and communicating in a corporate environment and matrix organization.
